Our nutritional courses highlight the relationship between food, diet and mental health, providing an accessible and engaging introduction to nutrition for people in challenging circumstances.

Nutrition & Wellbeing

Our nutrition and wellbeing courses take a participatory, hands-on approach, delivered by our public-health nutritionists. We work with participants to understand their circumstances, access to equipment, and learning styles, then tailor our teaching so the skills and insights gained are genuinely usable in everyday life. A basic understanding of nutrition and health can make a huge difference to physical and mental wellbeing, so our focus is on practical, real-world learning that helps people make positive changes for themselves.

‘I’m getting a lot out of it, learning a lot about budgeting and cooking. My favourite thing we’ve learned so far is how to dissect a chicken, that was really useful and money saving’
